How far may one travel on Friday (Erev Shabbat) from the beginning of the day?
Synopsis
One should not travel more than three parsaos on Friday so that one arrives at the Shabbat destination while there is still sufficient time to prepare. Exceptions exist for unsafe locations, pre-notification, and travelers in vehicles.
