Which foods are invalid for use in shituf mevo'ot?
Synopsis
Certain foods are invalid for shituf because they are not fit for normal eating: hardened berries, spices, dry beans, small onion tops, truffles and mushrooms, unripe dates, lentils, raw wheat and barley, half-cooked vegetables, water alone, and salt alone. Mixed water+salt, and possibly spices, are disputed.
