Is there bishul achar bishul (cooking after cooking) — is it forbidden to reheat a fully cooked liquid dish that has cooled?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules that a fully cooked dish containing liquid that has cooled is subject to the prohibition of bishul (cooking) if reheated. The Rambam and Rashba hold there is never bishul after bishul even for liquids; the Mechaber follows Rashi, Rabbeinu Yonah, Rosh, and Tur who distinguish liquid (bishul after bishul when cooled) from dry food (no bishul after bishul).
