May one place meat, onions, or eggs on actual coals (touching the coals) close to nightfall on Erev Shabbat?

ShabbatShehiya

Synopsis

When food is placed directly on coals, the concern of coal-stirring applies even to items that would normally be lenient, because the person placing food on coals only cares about speed regardless of charring. The Mechaber prohibits unless both sides will roast to ma'achal ben Derusa'i before dark.
